We are proudly introducing new Symphony Tenor models that have been requested for many years. As you will notice from the sizing chart, the new models are marked with the letters ‘D’ and ‘AL’. These offer variations in cup depths; while keeping your rim contour and diameter consistent.

For example ‘5GSD’: This has the shape of the 5GS with the depth increased, however not to the depth of the 5G.

For example ‘5GD’: This has the shape of the 5G with the depth increased, however not to the depth of the 5G-4G.

These variations in cup depths offer the player the opportunity to get more cup volume, without having to move to the next full cup. You, as players, are put into musical situations requiring specific demands and these models help meet them.

The ‘AL’ cups for each rim size is something I have been doing on a custom basis for 20 years. Now that design is available in a ‘stock’ model. By keeping your rim diameter/shape as a ‘constant’, moving to this style of cup will take little adjustment. The cup can be used in many different playing situations, ranging from big band to soloing. The tonal quality is rich and provides an excellent alternative if ‘C’ cups are too shallow and bright. It is available in all four mouthpiece weights and shank sizes.

Many options and combinations are available, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks as always for your years of support. It inspires me to provide the products needed to meet each players exacting standard.
