Ed Mayo has been a professional musician
since he first played West Side Story when he was 16 years old. Since
then he has become an in-demand Trumpet player in the UK and Europe
performing with Bob Mintzer, Bobby Shew, Amy Winehouse, Will Young and
the prestigious National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
He has appered in
the west end of London on numerous shows and toured across Europe and
America with Omar Puente's salsa group "Cubanos raices".
He has appeared
on countless albums including the debut from Canadian Jazz singer
Michel Chartier, as well as along side Jazz legends Henri Lowther and
Don Rendall on the Quntetville album "Timeshare".
Currently Ed
Lives in the Uk and splits his time working as a free-lance musician
and being a mainstay of the musical Department on board Cunard's Queen
Mary 2.
Ed is excited to
be playing Greg Black mouthpieces and looks forward to great
relationship into the future.
